Our company is looking for an experienced, reliable, carrier consultant to help create trucking routes that keep costs down but meet customer scheduling needs. The carrier consultant or dispatcher will be responsible for locating and planning loads for our carriers. The successful candidate for this position needs to be able to adjust to last minute changes, work for carriers, be flexible and good with communication and computers. This is an independent contractor, 1099 position.

Carrier Consultant Requirements

  • Requirements

    • Experienced in freight dispatching for box trucks, dry vans or flatbeds
    • High school diploma and GED required 
    • Must be a US citizen and reside in the US 
    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule and available from 6AM - 2PM daily. 
    • Strong knowledge of the roadways throughout the immediate area or wiliness to learn 
    • Ability to work in a team environment in high-pressure situations 
    • Strong written and oral communication skills are essential 
    • Must have your own computer 
    • Must be willing to train and learn the logistics industry
